Did you know?

Did you know that Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) wasn't discovered until 1968 and even then wasn't widely believed until years later? This explains so much considering nearly every adult I "dealt" with in my youth (teachers, administrators, and church leaders) were born well before the acceptance of this phenomenon. Hmmm... I always knew the adults I encountered in my adolescence were far inferior in intelligence.

National Self-Reflection

When did the idea of self-reflection, and when necessary criticism, become associated with Anti-Americanism. Why is stubbornness considered patriotic? It seems to me that the moment we become a country unwilling to honestly examine its actions with regards to morality is the moment we become fiercely, in the words of Representative Michelle Bachmann-R. Minnesota, un-American.
